BBB Phone: Special offer for the Gathering participants

Participants of the IKAA Gathering 2007 can rent mobile phones from BBB Phone during their stay in Korea at a specially discounted price.  BBB Phones are serviced through SK Telecom, Korea’s largest telecom company.  Please note that quantities are limited - only 400 phones will be available for IKAA Gathering 2007 participants and reservations will be serviced on a first come-first serve basis.

SERVICES:

BBB Phone will offer around-the-clock, 24/7, Korean translation services for 17 languages at no charge.  Korean language translation is available for the following languages:

English
French
German
Italian
Spanish
Swedish

Other languages:
Russian, Portuguese, Arabic, Polish, Turkish, Thai
Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malaysian.
 

FEES AND COSTS:

RENTAL FEE

BBB phones may be rented for the week of the IKAA Gathering 2007 or longer.  The cost for renting a BBB Phone will vary depending on the duration of your rental: 

Daily Rental Fee (less than a month):    KRW 1,500*
Daily Rental Fee (month or longer):       KRW 1,000*

* Daily rental fees reflect a 50% discount coupon (available only to IKAA 2007 Gathering participants), which must be presented at the time of pickup. 


USEAGE COSTS

In Korea, calls are charged by 10 second intervals and the minutes used for outgoing calls and text messages.  (Incoming calls as well as received text messages are not charged.)

Domestic Calls (Within Korea):      KRW100 per 10 seconds

International Calls     
Europe:     KRW400 per minute + KRW100 per 10 seconds
U.S.A.:      KRW156 per minute + KRW100 per 10 seconds

RENTAL PHONE PICK-UP/DROP-OFF LOCATIONS:

BBB Phones may be picked up or dropped off at two convenient locations:

1)    Incheon International Airport (SK roaming booth between Gates 9 and 10 on the 1st Floor)
2)    Sofitel Ambassador Hotel (IKAA Gathering 2007 Registration Desk)†

Please note that participants will need to provide a valid credit card, passport and the BBB Phone Coupon at the time of pickup to receive the special IKAA Gathering 2007 discounted pricing.  Without the coupon, regular rates will apply. 

* For participants arriving before July 31st or leaving after August 5th, phones can only be picked up or dropped off at the Incheon International Airport.
